Portable Pitching Mounds and Artificial Turf

Pitching mounds or portable pitching mounds are a requirement for 9U-19U (Baseball). Metal cleats (spikes) are prohibited on all portable pitching mounds with all associations. In addition, most associations allow molded cleats (rubber,plastic) on their portable pitching mounds. However, Winfield and Elsberry prohibits the use of all cleats, with only tennis shoes or turf shoes allowed on their portable pitching mounds.

The Warrenton – TSM Complex now has artificial turf on Fields A,B,C and D. Metal cleats (spikes) are prohibited on these fields for all baseball and softball age groups. Please be aware of these restrictions when teams are playing at these associations. Thank you.
